I added a new picture of the cabinet to the post showing how it looks finished and put to use.
This is the thread cabinet I built for Robin for Christmas. It still needs to be painted and have the door handles put on. She gets to pick the color and the pulls.
I don't know how many spools of thread she has but this will hold a lot. These are not the little wooden spools you may commonly think of. The long arm quilting machine uses spools that are wound on cones that are about 5 inches tall and about three or for in diameter when full.
